Youth Affairs Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Today, the Director of the Youth Affairs Agency, the First Vice President of the Chess Federation of Uzbekistan, and Senator Alisher Sa’dullayev held a bilateral meeting with representatives of the International Chess Federation (FIDE) who visited our country.

During the meeting, discussions were held on the promotion of chess, the organization of international tournaments, referee training, and the support of young chess players.

Additionally, several key agreements were reached regarding the preparation for the FIDE Grand Swiss Tournament, which is set to be held in Samarkand for the first time in September this year, as well as the 46th Chess Olympiad, which will take place in Uzbekistan in 2026.
