“Tashkent – CIS Youth Capital” Concludes the Year on a High Note!
Today, the Youth Creativity Palace in Tashkent hosted the closing ceremony of the project “Tashkent – the First CIS Youth Capital – 2024” alongside the International Volunteer Forum. The event, organized as part of the “Youth Forum-2024”, brought together leading volunteers from CIS countries, representatives of international organizations, and active members of Uzbekistan’s volunteer schools.
During the forum, an exhibition dedicated to volunteer activities in CIS countries was presented, along with the first UN review on volunteering in Central Asia. The best volunteers who achieved outstanding results throughout the year were duly recognized. Additionally, volunteers and organizers discussed the year’s outcomes and outlined future collaboration prospects.
The forum concluded with the closing ceremony of the international project “Tashkent — CIS Youth Capital”, and the 2025 baton was passed to Gabala, Azerbaijan.
