"The President's Cup" Chess Tournament in Tashkent
These days, the International Chess Academy in our capital, Tashkent, is hosting another prestigious event — “The President's Cup”, featuring the world's top chess players.
With a total prize fund of $75,000, the tournament includes not only the world's leading grandmasters but also renowned Uzbek players like Nodirbek Abdusattorov and Javokhir Sindarov, who are proudly representing our country. So far, seven rounds of the tournament have been completed.
The tournament is divided into two groups:
Each game is allocated 90 minutes of main time and 30 seconds of additional time per move. This classical chess tournament serves as a true test of skill for the participants.
