Dialogue with youth advisors of heads of ministries, departments and organizations

Today, an open dialogue was held at the initiative of the Commission on Youth Affairs of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, the Youth Affairs Agency and the Youth Parliament under the Legislative Chamber with the participation of advisers on youth issues from ministries and departments.
At the beginning of the dialogue, the Chairperson of the Commission on Youth Issues, Shakhnoza Zholdasova, noted that large-scale reforms are being implemented at the initiative of the Head of State to realize the potential of young people, provide them with comprehensive support, and create the necessary conditions for their intellectual and social growth.
In particular, it was noted that at each meeting held and in each decision adopted under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, special attention is paid to youth issues, additional opportunities are created for them, and reforms are being brought to the mahalla.
The dialogue was attended by advisers on youth issues from the heads of 42 ministries, departments and organizations in our republic. In particular, information was heard on the work being carried out by the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Energy, the Cadastre Agency, the People's Bank JSCB, and the Uzbekkomir JSC in the direction of state policy on youth.
During the presentations:
It was reported that extensive work was carried out in the system of the Ministry of Defense to develop the intellectual, artistic and creative abilities of youth and young military personnel during 2025, a unified mechanism for working with 14,622 attached youth was introduced, 5,218 social problems were identified, and 4,868 of them were positively resolved.
It was noted that 2,510 young people work in the Ministry of Justice, that a Youth Council was established under the Ministry of Justice to strengthen the organizational and legal framework for working with young people, and that more than 200 legal awareness-raising events and roundtable discussions were held to prevent crimes.
It was noted that as a result of the attention paid to young people in the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 2,719 young people were released from serious categories, 478 young people were returned to the educational process, 5,140 young people were freed from drug addiction and harmful ideas, and 575 unemployed young people were permanently employed.
Feedback was expressed on the attention paid to young people in the Ministry of Energy, new initiatives to work with adopted young people, and work with young specialists in state-owned organizations and commercial banks.
At the end of the meeting, members of the Youth Commission and the Youth Parliament expressed their suggestions and recommendations for the development of the sector.
