On November 9-11, 2025, the Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan Youth Congress was held in our capital, Tashkent. This traditional event was organized to strengthen cooperation between the two friendly countries and create new opportunities for young people, and serves to develop bilateral relations not only in economic areas, but also in youth policy.
At the congress, experts in working with youth, creative economy, ecology, volunteering and other relevant topics presented their experiences and projects. The main goal of the event was to establish dialogue between the youth of the two countries and further expand cooperation on the basis of common projects.
The connection between the projects implemented in the field of youth infrastructure, creative industries and ecology was also emphasized. The participants got acquainted with the youth infrastructure in Tashkent, the opportunities created for young people, as well as historical monuments in our country.
The opening ceremony of the event was attended by the leadership of the Youth Affairs Agency and the head of the delegation of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In their speeches, they highlighted the joint efforts to strengthen friendship and cooperation between the two countries. In particular, they spoke about the work of young people in such important areas as creative industries, IT sectors and climate change and their importance.
The congress paid special attention to ecology and climate change. Participants discussed important initiatives such as major environmental initiatives such as “Taza Kazakhstan”, ongoing projects to preserve the Aral Sea, and the activities of the Central Asian University for the Study of Environment and Climate Change (Green University). These projects serve to further increase the activity of young people from both countries in social and environmental issues.
The congress also discussed opportunities in the fields of creative economy, digitalization and creative industries. The Director of the Youth Affairs Agency, Alisher Sadullayev, emphasized the need to establish more effective cooperation between the two countries in the field of youth policy, paying special attention to uniting young people in new projects, implementing joint initiatives, and developing the potential of youth in the creative economy.
At the end of the event, ways to strengthen mutual relations between the two countries and create new opportunities were identified. The initiatives put forward by the Youth Affairs Agency and the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan will play an important role in creating joint projects and new opportunities for young people in the future.
