The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has announced that during the Hajj 2026 season, a Hajj visa will be issued only to pilgrims who possess a medical fitness certificate obtained through the “Nusuk” platform.

The Saudi Ministry of Health has instructed all ministries and institutions involved in organizing the Hajj pilgrimage to thoroughly examine each pilgrim in order to determine whether they have any medical conditions that could prevent them from undertaking the pilgrimage. This requirement is aimed at ensuring the safety and well-being of all pilgrims.

Attention, Hajj 2026 pilgrims:
It will not be possible to obtain a Hajj visa without completing the required medical examinations and receiving the corresponding health certificate.

According to the statement, pilgrims suffering from the following conditions will not be allowed to perform Hajj:

• Kidney failure requiring dialysis;

• Heart failure that manifests even under minimal physical activity;

• Chronic pulmonary diseases requiring regular or continuous oxygen support;

• Advanced stage of liver cirrhosis with symptoms of liver failure;

• Severe mental or neurological disorders;

• Dementia associated with old age;

• Pregnancy during the last trimester, as well as any pregnancy classified as high-risk;

• Active infectious diseases (including open tuberculosis, hemorrhagic fevers, etc.);

• Active oncological diseases undergoing chemotherapy or other immunosuppressive treatments.

The Ministry of Hajj has warned that any falsification or violation of these medical requirements will result in appropriate measures being taken.

The Republican Public Council for the Organization and Conduct of Hajj and Umrah calls on all pilgrims to strictly adhere to these requirements, emphasizing that they are intended to protect the health and safety of all Hajj participants.
