The Role of Civil Society in the Democratic Development of Uzbekistan: Global Challenges and Prospects

An international conference was organized by the Center for the Analysis of Democratic Processes, in collaboration with the UN Representation in Uzbekistan, the UN Development Program, and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.
The prestigious forum, held on the occasion of the "International Democracy Day," brought together nearly 200 specialists from countries such as Switzerland, Poland, Japan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, as well as representatives of civil society, research institutions, and government bodies from Uzbekistan.
In particular, M. Qahharova, Deputy Chairperson of the Committee for Religious Affairs, participated in the forum with her report.
The conference was held in a constructive atmosphere and was rich in lively discussions.
