In cooperation with the European Union and the “Hedayah” Center of the United Arab Emirates, a training on needs assessment was conducted for all specialists and imams operating in the field of religious and educational activities in our country.
At the opening ceremony, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Religious Affairs D. Maxsudov delivered a welcome speech.
It should be noted that in today’s rapidly developing environment of social media and technologies, the ability to communicate effectively and to correctly understand diverse perspectives — both online and offline — is more important than ever.
Such international events serve to enhance the experience and professional skills of specialists in the religious and educational sphere, representing an important step in fostering trust-based dialogue in society.
This event was organized within the framework of the STRIVE II program, funded by the European Union.
The program is aimed at strengthening resilience against violent extremism by enhancing the capacities of local stakeholders.
