2025-01-21 11:00:00 / News
According to the World Health Organization, during this period, there is an increase in cases of meningococcal disease in the world.
According to experts in the field, this infection is an airborne disease, and when an infected person sneezes or coughs, the infection spreads throughout the environment. Meningitis can occur at any age.
Therefore, we recommend that pilgrims use protective masks in crowded places, observe personal hygiene and take precautions to prevent the disease.
According to the procedure introduced by the Saudi Ministry of Health, vaccination must be carried out at least 10 days before entering the kingdom. The vaccination certificate is valid for 3 years.
Citizens intending to perform Umrah can get vaccinated against meningitis at all central clinics or vaccination centers of our republic.
