35th Anniversary of Independence: Historical Continuity, Human Dignity and National Progress

On September 29 of this year, an educational seminar was held dedicated to communicating to the general public the content and key messages of the speech delivered by President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the ceremonial event dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Opening the seminar, Matluba Qahharova, Deputy Chairperson of the Committee on Religious Affairs, emphasized the significance of the event and highlighted the importance of communicating the priority tasks outlined in the President’s speech to the general public, particularly young people, in a clear, accessible and impactful manner.
The event addressed key issues related to the substance and significance of ongoing reforms in the life of the state and society, the priority areas of development of New Uzbekistan, enhancing human dignity, preserving national identity and spiritual heritage, and unlocking the knowledge, abilities and potential of the younger generation.
As part of the educational seminar, specialists from the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment delivered thematic presentations.
In particular, Farhod Eshonov, Doctor of Historical Sciences and Associate Professor, delivered a presentation entitled “Three Thousand Years of Roots and the Third Renaissance: Historical Continuity, National Identity and Spiritual Heritage.” Sukhrob Khidirov, PhD in Sociology and Head of a Department at the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment, delivered a presentation entitled “The Decade of National Advancement: Seven National Programs as an Integrated System.”
The event also featured a video highlighting the large-scale reforms being implemented in New Uzbekistan, the country’s development and the processes of national advancement, as well as the music video entitled “The Uzbek Is Coming from the Depths of History.”
At the conclusion of the seminar, participants were provided with relevant recommendations on communicating the ideas and initiatives put forward in the President’s speech to the general public and on effectively applying them in information and educational outreach activities among the population.
