The Committee on Religious Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan

A spiritual and educational event on the theme “Building Immunity Against False Information” was held at the University of Military Security and Defence as part of the “Enlightenment Against Ignorance” project.

I. Marupov, Adviser to the Chairman of the Committee on Religious Affairs, took part in the event and delivered a lecture on the importance of strengthening young people’s spiritual development and religious and educational literacy, as well as the negative consequences of false reports, manipulative information, and destructive ideas encountered in the information environment.

During the lecture, detailed explanations were provided regarding the negative impact of ignorance and fanaticism on the development of society, the role of enlightenment in personal development and the prosperity of the Motherland, as well as the importance of critically evaluating unverified information* circulating on the internet and social media and using only official and reliable sources*.*

Practical recommendations were also provided on educating young military personnel in the spirit of respect for national and universal human values, love and loyalty to the Motherland, strengthening their legal awareness and spiritual maturity, and developing a strong civic position in responding to information threats.

The event continued in a question-and-answer format, with participants receiving detailed answers to their questions.
