During the event, M. Qahharova, Deputy Chairperson of the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, addressed the participants and highlighted the importance of ensuring the implementation of priority tasks set out in the 2026 State Programme — “Year of Developing Mahallas and Advancing Society” and the “Uzbekistan – 2030” Strategy.
She also emphasised the importance of further strengthening an atmosphere of interethnic harmony and tolerance in society, developing friendly relations with foreign countries, as well as increasing the effectiveness of spiritual and educational activities among women and strengthening awareness-raising efforts.
Representatives of the Tashkent City Hokimiyat, the Republican Advocacy Group, national cultural centres, as well as other governmental and non-governmental organisations shared their views on the topic and placed particular emphasis on further strengthening peace, stability, interethnic harmony and mutual solidarity in society.
