President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Bukhara region on May 31.
The visit began with a good deed - a visit to the mausoleum of Bahauddin Naqshband. Verses of the Quran were recited and prayers were recited for peace and well-being of our people.
At the initiative of the head of our state, the complex is being improved and its historical originality is being restored. These works were inspected during the visit.
First of all, the historical corridor leading from Toki miyona gate was restored. Pilgrims now walk to Bahauddin Naqshband's mausoleum from the Qibla direction according to Sunnah.
- The fact that we restored this gate, which has been in ruins for a hundred years, is an expression of self-awareness and respect for history, - said Shavkat Mirziyoev. - Now it is necessary to write inscriptions on every monument here, on the walls of the Khans. Let the pilgrims learn the history step by step and take a spiritual soul.
Both sides of Toki Miyona gate have been turned into a garden. A museum and a toilet were built. The disappearing Danyolbi madrasah is being restored.
Discussions with scholars discussed the in-depth study of the legacy of Bahauddin Naqshband. It was emphasized that it is necessary to bring resources from foreign countries, to support scientific research, to enrich the museum with the same content as in the Imam Bukhari complex. He also gave instructions on expanding facilities for pilgrims, including foreign tourists, and creating suitable conditions for both winter and summer.
Officials were instructed to develop a decision based on the proposals of scientists, including these.
