Today, our compatriots are legally employed in more than 40 countries and pay pension contributions in addition to taxes.

“It is essential that their employment periods abroad be recognized after they return to Uzbekistan and, in particular, taken into account when determining pension entitlements,”
the President said.
This year, bilateral agreements on the recognition of employment periods and pension rights have been signed with Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Türkiye. At the same time, efforts must be made to reach similar agreements with Russia, Germany, Japan, Korea, the Baltic states and the Balkan countries, where many of our citizens are employed.
The relevant officials were instructed to hold negotiations with their foreign counterparts and report on concrete results achieved by the end of the year.
