To this end, 500 native speakers will be recruited next year to teach German in schools and technical colleges. It has also been instructed to double the state quota for training German language teachers at higher education institutions, starting from the next academic year.
Major companies from Germany, Japan and Korea have expressed interest in training the specialists they need at technical colleges in Uzbekistan. They are also ready to invest in developing educational programmes and equipping educational institutions. The President instructed the relevant authorities to select 20 technical colleges within one month and adapt them from next year to train specialists in accordance with the requirements of foreign employers.
