Good day, respected representatives of the mass media and dear compatriots!
Today, we would like to announce important news for our citizens who wish to work abroad.
The Migration Agency has significantly reduced the cost of services related to the employment of citizens abroad.
Most importantly, these changes came into effect today, 20 October 2026. The new procedure does not apply to contracts concluded before 20 October.
This initiative aims to reduce the additional expenses of citizens seeking to engage in lawful employment abroad and to create more convenient and financially accessible conditions for them.
As is well known, in recent years, at the initiative of the President of our country, extensive reforms have been implemented to improve the system of temporary employment abroad, provide our citizens with vocational and foreign-language training, direct them towards decent employment opportunities, and protect their rights and interests.
In particular, the President's Decree No. PF–162 of 17 October 2024 and Resolution No. PQ–367 established important objectives for reforming the migration management system, expanding opportunities for legal employment abroad, and improving the quality of services provided to citizens.
The revision of the Migration Agency's service tariffs is a logical continuation of these reforms and is intended to provide practical benefits for citizens.
In particular, by Order No. 114 dated 19 October 2026, the Director of the Agency approved new tariffs for pre-departure training (adaptation) and overseas employment services.
We will now take a closer look at the most important changes.
The cost of employment services for the Republic of Korea has been significantly reduced.
In particular, the service fee for citizens being sent to the Republic of Korea under an E-9 visa was previously set at 50 times the Basic Calculation Amount (BCA). This fee has now been reduced fivefold, meaning a 500 per cent reduction, and set at 10 BCA units.
In simple terms, based on the current Basic Calculation Amount, the service fee previously stood at 22 million Uzbek soums. It has now been reduced to 4 million 400 thousand soums.
This means that each citizen will pay 17 million 600 thousand soums less for these services compared with the previous tariff.
For citizens employed under an E-7 visa, the new tariff is also set at 10 BCA units, equivalent to 4 million 400 thousand soums.
These changes will help reduce the initial financial costs for our citizens seeking lawful employment in the Republic of Korea.
Employment services for European countries, the Russian Federation and Arab countries are free of charge.
Citizens sent to these countries through organised recruitment arrangements by the Migration Agency will not be charged for the Agency's services until 31 December 2026.
In other words, our citizens can use the Agency's employment services for these destinations free of charge.
Where stipulated in contracts concluded with foreign employers, the service fees may be covered by the employer organisations.
New, affordable tariffs have also been introduced for employment services in several other countries. These include:
The Republic of Belarus — 44,000 soums;
CIS countries other than Russia, and Mongolia — 440,000 soums;
Georgia — 880,000 soums;
Türkiye — 1,320,000 soums.
For graduates of higher education institutions placed in employment in Japan in the fields of technology, humanities and international affairs, the service fee has been set at 440,000 soums.
For Japan's Specified Skilled Worker and technical internship programmes, the service fee amounts to 4 million 400 thousand soums.
At this point, it is important to emphasise one key aspect.
These tariffs apply exclusively to services provided by the Migration Agency. Expenses related to visa processing, air tickets, medical examinations and other costs may be charged separately in accordance with the relevant programme and the terms of the employment contract.
Dear compatriots!
Initial expenses are important for everyone who decides to work abroad. In particular, the financial burden associated with employment, document processing and travel preparations directly affects the family budget.
Therefore, the reduction in service fees by the Migration Agency is an important practical step aimed at reducing the additional expenses incurred by our citizens.
Our main objective is to further expand opportunities for lawful employment abroad and make services more accessible, transparent and financially affordable for our citizens.
At the same time, efforts to strengthen cooperation with foreign employers, attract new job opportunities, provide vocational and foreign-language training for our citizens, and protect their labour rights will be further developed.
We urge citizens to rely exclusively on information from official sources when seeking employment abroad and to familiarise themselves in advance with service fees and the terms of their employment contracts.
Detailed information about the new tariffs is available on the Migration Agency's official website, its social media pages, and by calling the short number 1282.
Thank you for your attention!
