The talks resulted in an agreement on practical steps to prepare Uzbek citizens for seasonal agricultural work in the United States and facilitate their employment.
A special training programme lasting approximately 12 weeks will be developed for candidates. It will provide practical skills in English, operating agricultural machinery, equipment maintenance and repair, welding, and occupational safety.
Employers will participate in developing the training programme, testing candidates, and conducting final certification.
The goal is to prepare the first group for the spring agricultural season in the United States.
According to the American partners, US farmers are showing growing interest in recruiting Uzbek workers for seasonal jobs.
Candidate selection and training will begin once specific employer orders have been received and the selection criteria approved.
Admission requirements and application procedures will be announced through the Agency’s official channels.
