Serbia: Employment Opportunities Planned for More Than 300 Uzbek Citizens in 2027

Head of the Migration Agency Muhsinxuja Abdurahmonov held online talks with Damir Lunić, CEO of Serbia’s Sherpa d.o.o. company.
The company expressed its readiness to recruit more than 300 specialists from Uzbekistan in construction and related occupations in 2027. Its partners include contracting organisations involved in the “EXPO 2027” projects.
The parties agreed to identify occupations in high demand and working conditions, conduct targeted candidate selection, and provide vocational training.
The final selection process is planned to take place in Uzbekistan with the participation of representatives of the Serbian company.
Once an official request for specific vacancies is received and a cooperation agreement is signed, the project will move to the implementation stage.
