Director of the Migration Agency Muhsinxuja Abdurahmonov met with Kim Deok Yeong, Chairman of the South Korean company BOMI Engineering & Construction.
The main goal is to train specialists in Uzbekistan to meet international standards and open up opportunities for them in the labor markets of both countries.
How will it work?
1. TRAINING — IN UZBEKISTAN. Establishing a training system based on Korean standards, covering professional skills, language, and occupational safety.
2. PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE — IN INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS. Trained specialists may work at BOMI construction sites in Uzbekistan, gaining hands-on experience with modern technologies and international work standards.
3. THE NEXT STAGE — THE KOREAN LABOR MARKET. Plans are underway to create future employment opportunities in Korea for highly qualified specialists who have gained professional experience in Uzbekistan.
One of the first practical areas of cooperation is the reconstruction project of Urgench International Airport.
According to the company, approximately 1,500 employees will be required for this project. In this regard, the parties discussed establishing a training and production center in Urgench.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed.
