Today, the next Uzbekistan–Germany dialogue was held in Tashkent, dedicated to the needs of the German labor market and the preparation of specialists in Uzbekistan in line with these requirements.
The meeting was attended by Muhsin Khoja Abdurakhmonov, Director of the Migration Agency, Angela Papenburg, Director of GP Günter Papenburg AG, Matthias Klingenberg — Team Leader at GIZ Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of German employers and the vocational training sector.
The main focus of the discussions was to train candidates not for a ready-made vacancy, but with the profession and qualifications that meet the specific requirements of the employer.
The parties separately discussed aligning training programmes more closely with the requirements of the German labour market, pre-departure preparation, and integration after arrival.
