Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Muhsinxo‘ja Abdurahmonov, Director of the Migration Agency, met with Alexey Yerhov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Uzbekistan.

The meeting discussed improving mechanisms for the organized placement of candidates seeking employment in Russia, as well as organizing key pre-departure procedures directly in Uzbekistan.

In particular, a proposal was put forward to establish a comprehensive center based on the “all procedures in one place” principle. The center would provide pre-departure testing, medical examinations, biometric registration and fingerprinting, as well as document verification.

The meeting also addressed organizing Russian-language examinations in the regions in order to reduce the time and expenses associated with traveling to Tashkent. For this purpose, the necessary infrastructure has already been prepared in 4 regions.

The main objective is to ensure that citizens planning to work in Russia know in advance where they will work, at which enterprise and under what conditions, complete the necessary documents and procedures beforehand, and travel for employment through a legal and transparent process based on a specific employer’s request.
