National information campaign for foreign employees in Romania

From 12 to 16 October 2026, the General Inspectorate for Immigration of Romania, in cooperation with the territorial labour inspectorates, will conduct a national information campaign for foreign citizens.
The aim is to raise awareness of the conditions for legal employment in Romania, workers’ rights and obligations, as well as the requirements applicable to employers.
The campaign is intended for foreign citizens working or planning to work in Romania, as well as employers recruiting foreign workers.
📍Recommendation for our compatriots in Romania: follow announcements from the Immigration Service and the territorial Labour Inspectorate (ITM) in the area where you live.
