Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, met with Karan Bhatia, Vice President of Google. The meeting discussed bringing technological cooperation between Uzbekistan and Google to a new stage and launching YouTube monetization in Uzbekistan.
💝 In recent years, we have improved legislation in the areas of personal data processing and digital payments. As a result, broad opportunities are opening up in Uzbekistan for the free use of international payment systems,- the Head of the Administration said.
❗️ Today, this cooperation has expanded far beyond ordinary digital services and is becoming a strategic direction aimed at enhancing Uzbekistan’s IT potential and expanding its opportunities as a technological hub in Central Asia.

💳 Google Pay to be launched in Uzbekistan
🔷 The launch of Google Pay for Visa and Mastercard cards is planned.
🤖 The Uzbek language will be integrated into Google Gemini
🔷 Support for the Uzbek language on the Google Cloud Gemini platform will open up new opportunities for creating AI solutions in the local language. Technologies such as BigQuery and Dataplex will be used in pilot projects to analyze large volumes of data across economic sectors.
🛡 Cybersecurity and digital talent
🔷 It is planned to enhance the capacity of specialists in the field of national cybersecurity based on Google technologies, as well as expand opportunities for new training programs and international certification.
🎓 Uzbek talent is entering the Google ecosystem
🔷 Through Coursera, more than 737,000 users have completed training and obtained certificates through Google’s “People + AI” courses. In addition, 25 students are planned to be sent to Google offices for internships every year.
Most importantly, the cooperation is aimed at developing the local IT ecosystem by supporting startups, organizing hackathons, and training specialists in education and AI.
