Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The project “Promotion of legal entry pathways to Italy. In-Country Pre-departure Training and Labour Market Integration of Third-Country Nationals” is promoted by the Italian Ministry of Labour and Social Policies and implemented by the in-house agency, Sviluppo Lavoro Italia (SLI), in cooperation with the Agency for Migration under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The project gives Uzbek citizens the opportunity to work in Italy in a safe, legal and transparent way.

It connects Italian companies with workers from Uzbekistan through a clear and structured process. This includes candidate selection, pre-departure training in Uzbekistan, and support for employment in Italy.

Project objectives

The project aims to

• create legal job opportunities in Italy;
   
• respond to the needs of Italian companies;
   
• improve the skills of workers;
   
• ensure safe and supported mobility.

How the project works

The project follows these steps:

• collection of job offers from Italian companies;
   
• pre-selection of candidates by the Agency for Migration with relevant work experience and skills;
   
• interviews with Italian companies;
   
• after selection, pre-departure training in Uzbekistan (Italian language, work rules, health and safety, professional skills);
   
• support for entry procedures and job placement in Italy.

The project is open to Uzbek citizens who:

• have the required skills and experience for the job;

Participation in the project is only through official procedures.

Role of of the Agency for Migration under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The Agency for Migration supports the project by:

• publishing job opportunities;
   
• pre-selecting candidates;
   
• providing guidance and support during the selection process.

Costs

• Paid by the worker: travel costs and visa costs.
   
• Paid by the employer: costs related to the recruitment process and legal requirements in Italy, such as mandatory mandatory checks (if required), practical tests during the selection process, or any additional required cost after arrival in Italy.

There are no registration fees and no payments to intermediaries.
