The Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan was adopted by Parliament on December 8, 1992. This holiday is widely celebrated throughout Uzbekistan.
All the achievements of the years of independent development and the efforts aimed at improving the well-being of the people are fundamentally based on the principles of our Constitution.
Our Constitution, which reflects traditional national values and the requirements of modern times, serves as the legal foundation for the development of New Uzbekistan.
In particular, the updated Constitution serves as a strong guarantee of justice, the rule of law, dialogue with the people, and the protection of human interests in our country.
Moreover, our Basic Law has earned high recognition from citizens and gained respect in the international community as a source of great political and moral significance.
Today, the Constitution also serves as the main legal basis for the effective management of the state’s financial reserves and the improvement of the system of supreme financial control over the targeted use of budget funds.
In the future, we will remain faithful to the noble ideas and principles enshrined in our Constitution and continue to improve the country’s financial control system in line with international standards.
Full implementation and observance of the constitutional norms is the honorable duty of each and every one of us.
