The Dutch company MMBS Groep plans to employ 6,000 specialists from Uzbekistan in the future. This issue was discussed during a meeting between the Ambassador of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fozilov and the company’s management.
Ambassador of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fozilov (residing in Brussels) held a meeting with the head of the Dutch company MMBS Groep and the manager of the Bouwmensen Amsterdam training center. This was reported by the “Dunyo” news agency.
During the dialogue, the parties discussed strengthening cooperation in the field of labor migration, simplifying visa procedures, and developing labor migration programs between Uzbekistan and the Netherlands.
The Dutch side particularly emphasized that Uzbekistan is a reliable partner in training qualified personnel. According to a representative of MMBS Groep, 40 specialists from Uzbekistan are currently employed by the company with a salary of 2,500 euros.
The company also plans to hire about 6,000 more citizens of Uzbekistan in the future.
At the end of the negotiations, the parties agreed to establish the first construction training center in Urgench, and later open training centers for specialists in plumbing, electrical work, and other technical fields.
During the meeting, diplomats also familiarized themselves with the working and living conditions of Uzbek nationals employed at MMBS Groep.
