BRIEFING on the work carried out by the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers on the implementation of legislative acts and assignments in October–December 2025

In the fourth quarter of the current year, a total of 420 assignments were set for the Agency. In particular:
Based on 46 documents adopted by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 230 assignments were determined; based on 36 documents of the Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 76 assignments; and based on 44 documents of the Cabinet of Ministers, 114 assignments.
To date, the implementation of all assignments has been fully and properly ensured.
Within the framework of implementing these assignments, a number of important changes were carried out in the field of labor migration.
As a result of the targeted efforts undertaken by the Migration Agency, the geography of labor migration was expanded. In particular, intergovernmental and interagency agreements in the field of migration were signed with 6 countries (France, Kuwait, Sweden, Italy, Serbia, and Belgium). In addition, cooperation agreements were concluded with 224 employers from 33 countries.
Together with foreign organizations and non-governmental educational institutions, training courses were organized in the regions for citizens wishing to engage in labor activity abroad, and opportunities for free foreign language training were expanded.
Based on the “Education + Work” principle, international training centers with an annual training capacity of 5,000 people were opened in 9 regions, and 2,200 citizens were involved in training in 6 professions and foreign languages.
In cooperation with Aachen University of Germany, the “German Medical Academy” was established in public health technical schools in 14 regions with an annual quota of 750 places.
In addition, 50 free training courses in Korean, German, and Japanese languages were opened in 28 districts and cities, where 1,500 citizens are currently studying.
Labor fairs were held in Uzbekistan by 50 employers from Germany, Japan, Slovenia, and Romania.
Work to provide assistance to our citizens in need of legal and material support abroad is being consistently continued.
