President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a Decree on measures to further improve the activities of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The document is aimed at bringing the activities of the Constitutional Court to a qualitatively new level, expanding citizens’ access to constitutional justice, and increasing transparency and efficiency in judicial proceedings. The Decree provides for the following measures:
– simplifying procedures for citizens and legal entities to apply to the Constitutional Court and eliminating excessive bureaucratic barriers;
– improving the institution of constitutional complaints and strengthening judicial protection;
– ensuring effective constitutional oversight over the activities of state bodies;
– implementing a program for the digitalization of the Constitutional Court’s activities in 2026–2027;
– introducing the “E-KSUD” information system into judicial proceedings, enabling electronic applications, online monitoring, and participation in court hearings via videoconferencing;
– broadcasting court hearings live, recording them through audio means, and generating electronic minutes;
– introducing the practice of obtaining necessary information electronically through integration with state information systems, without causing unnecessary inconvenience to citizens and entrepreneurs.
The Decree serves to ensure the supremacy of the Constitution, reliably protect human rights and freedoms, and introduce modern, transparent, and people-oriented mechanisms within the judicial system.
