Also, the Ministry of Employment and Labor of the Republic of Korea officially announced the minimum wage that will be effective from January 1, 2026.
💰 New rate:
⏱️️ Hourly - 10,320 won = 7.01$
🗓 40 hours per week (주휴수당): salary - 2,156,880 won = $1,464.64 (209 hours) at today's exchange rate 17,615,627.20 soums
📈 Differences: +290 won = 20 cents (2.9% increase) compared to 2025
