Uzbekistan climbs 19 positions in the Sustainable Development Report ranking

The report recognizes Uzbekistan as the country that has made the fastest progress towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals in the Central Asian and Eastern European regions since 2015.
The report also highly commends the reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
Specifically, the report highlights achievements in reducing poverty, improving the quality of education and healthcare, ensuring food security, achieving gender equality, strengthening social protection mechanisms, accelerating the development of the digital and green economy, as well as increasing the transparency of statistical data.
International experts emphasized that Uzbekistan's achievements in the field of Sustainable Development Goals are the result of comprehensive institutional and structural reforms led by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
