Analytical information on the fulfillment of target indicators in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries for the first half of 2025

Agricultural production increased by 4 %;
Forestry production grew by 3.1%;
Fisheries increased by 9.0%.
The production of crop farming products grew by 4.8%. In particular:
Grain products – 4.5%;
Vegetables – 3.8%;
Potatoes – 3.4%;
Melons and gourds – 8.3%;
Fruits – 6.6%;
Grapes – 7.8%.
Livestock production increased by 3.5%. Specifically:
Meat – 3.6%;
Milk – 2.9%;
Eggs – 8.2%.
The main factors ensuring high economic growth rates in agriculture were:
In 2024, a total of 4.4 thousand hectares of agricultural crops were planted in greenhouses, including 2.5 thousand hectares of tomatoes, 973 hectares of cucumbers, 145 hectares of sweet peppers, 33 hectares of eggplants, 550 hectares of lemons, 40 hectares of strawberries, 66 hectares of leafy greens, and 100 hectares of other crops. From October 2024 to May 2025, over 430 thousand tons of produce were harvested from these greenhouses.
According to calculations, using the “To‘qsonbosti” method, 2.7 million tons of early vegetables were produced from 150 thousand hectares during March to May 2025.
In 2024, within the framework of livestock development programs, 921 projects worth 2.4 trillion soums were implemented. These projects included 24.3 thousand heads of cattle, 62.3 thousand heads of small horned cattle, 484 horses, 176 camels, 236.9 million poultry, 14.8 thousand rabbits, 14.8 thousand beehives, 31.1 thousand tons of meat and milk processing capacity, and 8.8 thousand tons of compound feed production capacity. These efforts contributed significantly to the growth of livestock production.
As part of the livestock programs planned for 2025, to date, 340 projects worth 923.1 billion soums (31% of the annual plan) have been implemented. These projects resulted in the establishment of capacities for 10.3 thousand heads of cattle, 18.6 thousand heads of small horned cattle, 343 horses, 163 camels, 2.3 million poultry, 4.4 thousand rabbits, 953 tons of fish production, 1.4 thousand beehives, 41 thousand tons of meat and milk processing, and 1.2 thousand tons of compound feed production.
The State Support Fund for Agriculture under the Ministry of Economy and Finance allocated a total of 9.1 trillion soums of concessional resources through commercial banks to finance the cultivation of main agricultural crops in the first half of 2025.
Of this amount:
1.6 trillion soums were allocated for grain production;
7.5 trillion soums for cotton cultivation;
34.5 billion soums for fruit and vegetable production.
