The Veterans Council of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, in collaboration with the Trade Union, is implementing a series of measures aimed at honoring veterans as part of the country's social policy. These efforts include providing necessary material, spiritual, socio-legal, and medical assistance, continuously supporting their social activities, protecting their legal rights and interests, honor and dignity, and effectively utilizing the rich life experience, knowledge, skills, potential, and capabilities of the older generation in youth education.

In this regard, 1,882 veterans within the system were visited on the eve of national holidays and notable anniversaries. For instance, 482 people were supported during the New Year holiday, 343 on March 8 - International Women's Day, 406 during the national holiday of Navruz, and approximately 651 veterans during Eid al-Fitr and other events. Additionally, the Ministry has arranged for 10 elderly individuals residing in the mahallas of the Uchtepa district of Tashkent to receive treatment at the "Nuroniylar Sanatorium" in Tashkent in May 2025.

To honor veterans (respected senior teachers), show them respect, familiarize employees with their rich life experiences, and teach young people the secrets of the profession, "Three Generations Meetings" are being organized among representatives of the middle generation and youth under the slogan "High Respect for Teachers."
