The costs of training and taking exams under the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) are being reimbursed

Of this amount, 5.2767 billion UZS was reimbursed for the training costs of 1579 candidates under courses such as "Financial Reporting under IFRS" and "Diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR ACCA)," provided by educational centers accredited by international organizations in the field of accounting. Among these candidates, 1449 were students and graduates, 115 were faculty members teaching "Accounting" and "Audit" at higher education institutions, and 17 were employees of government agencies (see Diagram 1).
When analyzed by training courses, the costs for 1420 candidates were reimbursed for the course "Financial Reporting under IFRS," for 122 candidates in the course "Audit and Assurance Services," and for 37 candidates in the course "Diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR ACCA)" (see Diagram 2).
To date, 2 167.7 million UZS has been reimbursed for 1272 applications submitted by candidates to cover exam fees under the international certification of accountants. Of these applications, 1237 were submitted by students and graduates, 11 by faculty members teaching "Accounting" and "Audit" at higher education institutions, and 24 by employees of government agencies (see Diagram 3).
As a result of the practice of reimbursing costs for training and taking exams under the International Financial Reporting Standards, a total of 384 candidates have successfully passed their exams to date. Of these, 318 passed the "Financial Reporting under IFRS" course, 54 passed the "Audit and Assurance Services" course, and 12 passed the "Diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR ACCA)" course (see Diagram 4).
