The opening ceremony of the AlUla Conference for Emerging Market Economies was held in Saudi Arabia

This prestigious event is organized by the Ministry of Finance of Saudi Arabia and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and is attended by Finance Ministers, Central Bank Governors, representatives of international organizations and experts from leading developing countries.
The official opening ceremony of the conference began with opening remarks by Saudi Arabia's Finance Minister Mohammed Aljadani and IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva. The main theme of the event was "Rise Strong: Building Resilience in a Changing World" which discussed global economic trends and key challenges facing emerging market economies.
It was also emphasized that for developing countries, issues such as close cooperation with international financial institutions, effective management of public debt, and ensuring macroeconomic stability are of utmost importance, and that such conferences are an important platform for strengthening regional and global cooperation.
After the opening ceremony, the event continues with sessions on topical issues such as global economic changes and their impact on developing countries, fiscal policy and investment, and public debt sustainability.
