During the meeting, the parties discussed ongoing projects in the field of green economy and their outcomes, current efforts to combat climate change, and prospects for future cooperation.
In particular, the discussions focused on the following issues:
Current projects for the development of the green economy
§ Results of green projects implemented in our country and their economic efficiency;
§ Joint projects with the UN Development Program to improve energy efficiency and widely implement renewable energy sources;
Combating climate change
§ Measures being taken to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and achieve carbon neutrality;
§ Extensive use of international experiences in mitigating the consequences of climate change;
Implementation of green principles in social spheres
§ Creating energy-efficient infrastructure and introducing green technologies in the fields of education and healthcare.
At the conclusion of the negotiations, the parties agreed to develop and further expand mutual cooperation ties.
