For information: The joint project of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and UNDP titled "Expanding youth opportunities for digital economy and digital entrepreneurship development," funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), aims to enhance employment prospects, competitiveness, and resilience to COVID-19 and similar crises by equipping young people, especially women, with digital entrepreneurship skills, tools, and opportunities. This, in turn, will contribute to reducing inequality, ensuring inclusive, innovative, and sustainable economic growth, and creating job opportunities.
The project focuses on three main areas:
improving the digital entrepreneurship environment and enhancing the digital skills of young entrepreneurs;
strengthening institutional capacity to develop youth-oriented digital economy and digital entrepreneurship policies, and finding financial solutions to improve youth financial inclusion;
opportunities for developing digital entrepreneurship projects and startups.
The main objective of the training is to educate 100 women in Shahrisabz district on e-commerce and develop their skills in this field, improve hotel services through digital technologies, as well as expand women's economic opportunities and provide them with the necessary digital knowledge and soft skills to be economically active in society.
In the first part of the training, participants gained comprehensive knowledge on topics such as the fundamentals of e-commerce, customer acquisition, selling online products and services, social media and digital marketing, and working with online booking systems through theoretical instruction and practical exercises.
The second part of the event was structured around mentoring programs. Participants who actively engaged in the training and expressed interest in continuing their work in the digital economy field were paired with experienced mentors. These mentors will provide guidance to the selected participants in the future, offering advice and assistance in implementing their projects.

The participants got acquainted with the basic concepts of e-commerce and acquired practical skills in selling products and services online and marketing through social networks.
He received information on the skills needed to create and develop a personal brand and receive online orders, manage orders, and communicate with customers to achieve success in the e-commerce sector.
The opportunity to communicate with experienced entrepreneurs and mentors and learn from them has been created.
Through group work sessions and discussions, participants improved their teamwork skills.
Conditions were created for the establishment of contacts, exchange of experience and development of cooperation between the participants.
