A meeting on agricultural cooperation with Egypt was held

The discussions focused on implementing joint initiatives in agriculture, livestock farming and veterinary medicine, strengthening ties between research institutions, and introducing best practices. The parties also explored opportunities for exchanging expertise in food security, water resource management and environmental protection.
Particular attention was paid to improving the operations of livestock farms, enhancing the quality of dairy and meat products, and developing sheep farming. Specifically, the parties discussed ways to improve animal reproduction rates and productivity, prevent veterinary diseases, and explore opportunities for supplying veterinary medicines.
The meeting also addressed proposals to expand pastureland in the Kashkadarya region and bring unused land into agricultural production. The activities, ongoing projects and future plans of UzAgroStar Holding were presented, and the parties discussed opportunities to launch mutually beneficial initiatives across various agricultural subsectors.
The meeting concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the parties.
