In this spirit, on September 26 this year, the Ministry of Economy and Finance held a spiritual and educational event titled “Three Generations Meeting” on its initiative. The event brought together veterans who had worked effectively within the Ministry’s system for many years, experienced mentors and young employees, creating an atmosphere of sincere dialogue and exchange of experience.
The main purpose of the meeting, which brought together representatives of three generations, was to pass on professional traditions developed over the years to the younger generation, make effective use of the rich life and professional experience of mentors, and further strengthen young specialists’ sense of commitment to their profession and responsibility.
For today’s young professionals in particular, the mentors’ reflections on hard work, honesty, responsibility, dedication to the people and devotion to their profession were of particular importance.
“Regardless of the position a person holds, they should first and foremost approach their profession with honesty and integrity,” said Gulbahor Aripova, who worked in the Ministry’s system for many years. “Over time, positions may change, but a person’s work, the good name they leave behind, and their students are their greatest legacy.”
In today’s rapidly changing world, alongside modern knowledge and technologies, it is important to preserve national values, professional traditions and the principles of the mentor–apprentice relationship.
For this reason, the Ministry pays particular attention to honouring veterans and making effective use of their extensive experience in the education and professional development of young employees.
Each of them has made a meaningful contribution to the development of the Ministry and the sector and, through their dedicated work, helped lay the foundation for the achievements we see today.
A sporting event was also held at the Bunyodkor Football Academy under the motto “Sport is the Guarantee of Health”. Employees of the Ministry’s central office, as well as veteran mentors who had worked in the Ministry’s system for many years, took part in the event.
Sport once again brought the generations together. Sincere conversations, good humour and a friendly atmosphere helped strengthen the connection between young employees and veterans.
The veterans shared their life experiences with the younger generation and spoke about the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and taking care of one’s health.
