Issues Related to the development of Uzbekistan’s national statistical system discussed

The meeting discussed the development of Uzbekistan’s national statistical system, the implementation of the “Statistics Development – 2030” National Strategy, alignment of statistics with international standards, reducing the reporting burden, the use of administrative and alternative data, as well as the introduction of digital technologies and artificial intelligence.
The meeting also addressed issues related to improving government finance statistics, the gradual transition to the MNS–2025 and SNA-7 international standards, and ensuring consistency among macroeconomic statistical indicators.
During the meeting, tasks were identified to increase the efficiency of the national statistical system, ensure the reliability and quality of statistical data, and further develop international cooperation.
