Meeting Held with International Institutional Investors

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Finnish State Pension Fund, as well as Ilmarinen, Elo and Veritas pension and insurance companies, along with SOKA-BAU and Aktia Bank Oyj.
During the meeting, the Ministry provided a detailed overview of the economic and structural reforms being implemented under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the country’s current macroeconomic conditions and development prospects.
The investors highly commended the economic reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan and the measures undertaken to develop the domestic financial market.
Foreign investors also expressed interest in accessing the government treasury bond market, while the opportunities offered by Uzbekistan’s domestic financial market were discussed in detail.
The participants also exchanged views on further improving Uzbekistan’s sovereign credit rating, achieving investment-grade status, ensuring effective public debt management, expanding financing opportunities in the national currency, and developing the domestic capital market.
