A round table was organized on the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Conflict of Interest”

At the event, employees of the ministry system were given detailed explanations regarding the content of the law “On Conflict of Interest”, in particular, the concept of “conflict of interest”, and between whom and when a conflict of interest arises, as well as, measures to be taken for the effective organisation of law enforcement in the Ministry system were indicated.
Speaking about the content of this law, Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance Gulnara Rakhimova noted that, first of all, ensuring openness and transparency in the Ministry system, strictly limiting any manifestations of relations related to conflicts of interest, is the main direction of ongoing consistent reforms.
It was also noted that the republican executive bodies under the Ministry and heads of organisations subordinated to the Ministry, as well as all territorial subdivisions should effectively implement in the organisation under their leadership the requirements and mechanisms before and after the entry into force of the law within the established timeframe with observance of executive discipline.
The meeting provided feedback on the topic and answered questions from the attendees.
