Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan

On the occasion of this significant date, a spiritual and educational event was held at the Ministry. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan – Minister of Economy and Finance Jamshid Qo‘chqorov attended the event and sincerely congratulated the staff on Independence Day. In his congratulatory remarks, he emphasized the contribution of representatives of every sector to the development of the New Uzbekistan, highlighting the large-scale reforms implemented during the years of independence, the achievements being made, and the country’s confident progress toward new goals.
 

During the event, the awarding of Samandar Asadovich Sadullayev, Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, with the “Shuhrat” Medal was particularly recognized. Awards were also presented to employees who had been honored with the commemorative badge “35th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.”
 

Musical and theatrical performances featured in the festive program added a special atmosphere to the event. The artistic performances reflected the rich history of the Uzbek people, national traditions of statehood, and the contributions of our ancestors to science, enlightenment, and the struggle for freedom.
 

In particular, stage performances were dedicated to the lives and legacies of our great ancestors Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, Abu Ali ibn Sina, Amir Timur, Mirzo Ulugbek, Tomyris, Nodirabegim, and Jalaliddin Manguberdi, as well as the life and creative works of Usmon Nosir, one of the prominent representatives of Jadid literature.
 

The festive event, held in a rich and uplifting atmosphere, further strengthened among its participants a sense of love for the Motherland, respect for national values, and appreciation of the blessing of independence.
