Maternity and Sickness Benefits to Be Transferred to the “Baraka” Social Card
2026-08-25 20:15:00 / News of ministry

The new procedure enables citizens to receive social insurance payments more conveniently and promptly, without the need for unnecessary applications or additional visits.
Under the new procedure, once maternity and childbirth or temporary incapacity benefits are approved, the relevant funds are transferred directly to the citizen’s “Baraka” social card.
If You Have a “Baraka” Card
If a citizen already has a “Baraka” social card, the approved benefit funds are automatically transferred to the card without requiring any additional application or request.
In this case, the citizen does not need to visit a bank, open a separate bank account, or submit additional documents to receive the benefit.
If You Do Not Have a “Baraka” Card
If a citizen does not have a “Baraka” social card, a virtual social card is automatically opened for the citizen through the “Baraka” mobile application once the benefit has been approved.
The approved benefit funds are then transferred to this virtual card.
Importantly, there is no need to visit a bank or submit a separate application to obtain a virtual social card. Citizens can view all the necessary information through the “Baraka” mobile application.
How Can You Check Your Benefit Payments?
Once the benefit has been approved, citizens can log in to the “Baraka” mobile application and view information about their virtual social card and the funds credited to it.
The application also allows users to monitor the necessary information related to their card and payments.
Therefore, citizens who have been granted maternity and childbirth or temporary incapacity benefits are advised to download the “Baraka” mobile application and regularly check the information available there.
What Benefits Does the New Procedure Provide to Citizens?
The new system is primarily aimed at simplifying the process of receiving benefits. Citizens are not required to submit additional applications, visit a bank, or go through unnecessary procedures related to opening a separate card in order to receive their benefits.
Making payments electronically enables benefit funds to be delivered to citizens in a convenient and transparent manner.
In addition, receiving benefit payments through the “Baraka” social card provides citizens with quick access to information about their payments.
This procedure contributes to the digitalization of the state social insurance system, the simplification of service delivery processes, and the improvement of the quality of social services provided to citizens.
If a physical plastic card is required, it can be ordered through the “Baraka” mobile application. Citizens who have been granted sickness benefits will be issued a “Baraka” social card free of charge.
Note: If you have been granted maternity and childbirth or temporary incapacity benefits, you can download the “Baraka” mobile application and check information about your social card and benefit payments.
Detailed information on this procedure is available in the National Database of Legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
