Issues of managing corruption risks and organizing compliance control in healthcare institutions discussed

The seminar brought together specialists from the Compliance Service Department and the Internal Audit Department of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, who delivered presentations on modern approaches to identifying, assessing, and managing corruption risks in the healthcare sector. The sessions also focused on establishing effective compliance control systems, preventing conflicts of interest, and strengthening internal anti-corruption control mechanisms.
In addition, participants reviewed financial violations identified during state financial control activities in healthcare institutions. Practical recommendations were provided on ensuring the efficient and targeted use of budget funds, improving accounting and financial reporting practices, and eliminating common errors encountered in the use of the UZASBO information system.
The seminar also highlighted the importance of effectively implementing anti-corruption legislation in practice, conducting regular corruption risk assessments within organizations, and introducing effective measures to mitigate identified risks.
The event was conducted in an interactive format, allowing participants to raise questions, exchange practical experiences, and discuss proposals and recommendations aimed at addressing current challenges in the healthcare sector.
