The second round of negotiations between Uzbekistan and Türkiye on pension and social security successfully concluded

For reference: The first round of negotiations on the draft Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Republic of Türkiye on Pension and Social Security was successfully concluded in April this year.
As a result of the negotiations, the parties fully agreed on the texts of the draft Agreement on Pension and Social Security between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Republic of Türkiye, as well as the draft Administrative Arrangement for its implementation.
The primary objective of the cooperation is to ensure the pension and social security rights of citizens engaged in employment in the territories of both countries, while further strengthening bilateral cooperation in this area.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties signed the Minutes of the Negotiations, reflecting the outcomes achieved during the discussions.
The agreements reached provide an important foundation for preparing these documents for high-level signature and will contribute to elevating cooperation between Uzbekistan and Türkiye in the field of pension and social security to a new stage.
