Aspects of the future readiness, new economy and artificial intelligence were discussed with World Bank experts

The meeting was attended by experts from the World Bank - Stela Mocan, Luda Bujarianu, Randeep Sudan and Maria Isabel Alves Da Silva Neto, as well as the Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan Umid Abidkhadjaev.
During the dialogue, issues of modern approaches to the transformation of the economy, the widespread introduction of artificial intelligence technologies into the activities of public administration and the private sector, improving the quality of digital services and developing mechanisms for decision-making based on data were discussed.
Views were also exchanged on the possibilities of effective use of artificial intelligence in fields such as education, finance, healthcare, and public services, its role in accelerating economic growth rates, and its importance in developing an innovative ecosystem. International experts presented best practices for accelerating digital transformation, strengthening institutional capacity, and increasing readiness for future technological changes.
The parties discussed issues of increasing the efficiency of public services through artificial intelligence, expanding access to services for citizens and entrepreneurs, optimizing management processes, and creating new economic opportunities by stimulating innovation in the private sector.
Following the meeting, priority areas of cooperation were identified for the phased implementation of artificial intelligence technologies in public administration and the private sector, increasing the efficiency of digital services, developing data-driven management systems, and expanding the international exchange of experience in new economic sectors. The parties noted the importance of continuing mutual cooperation in these areas and the joint implementation of promising initiatives.
