A meeting was held with the Deputy Minister of Finance of Japan for International Affairs

During the discussions, the parties explored prospects for bilateral cooperation in the field of professional development and capacity building for employees of the Ministry’s central office, subordinate organizations, and regional departments.
Particular attention was given to the organization of joint training and professional development programs at the Policy Research Institute (PRI) under Japan’s Ministry of Finance, including programs focused on the application of modern digital technologies and artificial intelligence in the financial sector.
The parties also considered opportunities to engage Japanese specialists and experts in the educational activities of the newly established Tosh Tech University, implement joint research projects, and expand academic cooperation between educational and research institutions of the two countries.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed their readiness to further strengthen bilateral cooperation and agreed to continue joint efforts in developing educational, research, and technological initiatives.
