The Regulation on the Procedure for Certification and Continuous Professional Development of Employees of Internal Audit Services of State Bodies and Organizations has been approved

This resolution approves the Regulation on the Procedure for Certification and Continuous Professional Development of Employees of Internal Audit Services of State Bodies and Organizations.
The Regulation provides for the following:
1. Introducing a two-stage certification system for internal audit employees (Practitioner Internal Auditor Certificate and Professional Internal Auditor Certificate);
2. Organizing in-person and distance learning preparatory courses to obtain a certificate;
3. The qualification exam for obtaining a certificate will be conducted by the Knowledge and Skills Assessment Agency;
4. Holders of international certificates in internal audit, risk management, or public finance, such as CIA, ACCA, CIPFA, and CRMA, will be issued certificates without taking qualification exams;
5. Introducing a continuous professional development system for certificate holders, aimed at improving their skills, participating in national and international seminars and trainings in relevant fields, publishing articles, and engaging in pedagogical activities.
Additionally, with this resolution, relevant amendments and additions were made to the Regulation on the Procedure for Certifying the Qualifications of Employees of the State Financial Control Inspectorate of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the internal audit services of state bodies and organizations, approved by Resolution No. 62 of the Cabinet of Ministers dated February 13, 2023.
This establishes the procedure for introducing a qualification certificate in financial control and for professional development for employees of the State Financial Control Inspectorate.
