Expansion of cooperation between Uzbekistan and China was discussed

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and future prospects of trade, economic and financial cooperation between Uzbekistan and China. It was noted that bilateral trade has grown significantly in recent years, increasing from $6.4 billion in 2020 to $17.2 billion in 2025.
The sides also exchanged views on ensuring macroeconomic stability, supporting economic growth, and continuing ongoing structural reforms.
The importance of cooperation with international financial institutions in supporting Uzbekistan’s economic transformation was particularly emphasized.
Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening mutually beneficial partnership aimed at expanding trade and financial cooperation, enhancing investment ties, and advancing joint projects.
