According to this program, mortgage loans totaling UZS 12,250.2 billion, issued to 40,121 citizens by participating banks, will be refinanced using funds from the State Budget.
At the same time, the total amount of subsidies to be covered by the State Budget for mortgage loans will amount to UZS 2,701.5 billion. Of this, UZS 900.0 billion is planned to be allocated to 30,000 citizens to partially cover the initial down payment for housing purchases.
In order to ensure the effective implementation of this State Program, on April 9 of the current year, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Invest Finance Bank.
Within the framework of this memorandum, a solid institutional foundation will be established to attract financial resources to the mortgage market using State Budget funds under annually approved state mortgage programs, clearly define the rights and obligations of participants, and foster mutually beneficial and effective cooperation.
Currently, the number of commercial banks participating in the mortgage program stands at 15. Following the signing of this memorandum between the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Invest Finance Bank, the number of participating banks has increased to 16.
